The ECP Action Plan 2027 – 2030 is now LIVE!

The Evenlode Catchment Partnership Action Plan is now live on our website. You can find it under the ‘About’ tab at the top of the home page.

Created by the partnership’s working groups, the ECP Action Plan is divided into our four main themes and illustrates the ECP’s objectives over the next 3 years.

From 2027 to 2030, the ECP plans to continue striving for improved water quality, increased biodiversity, more natural flood management, and better access to river-based education programmes and outside learning for students and local community groups.

The themes are further broken down into key areas of work, each with their own set of objectives. The working groups meet every 6 to 8 weeks to discuss progress with the objectives and further action that needs to be taken. Project updates are subsequently recorded in the Planning Spreadsheet and reported on in the ECP Annual Report which can be found on our resources page.

The ECP’s work is currently being funded by the Water Restoration Fund, a DEFRA-backed project administered by the RPA using fines paid by Thames Water. The WRF granted the partnership with £780k in March 2025 to be spent over the following two years.

As of March 2027, the ECP will need to acquire a new source of funding to so that we can continue to deliver our projects.
