Wild Oxfordshire is taking part in the Big Give’s Green Match Fund to raise £20,000 in just 1 week! These funds will be used for the Evenlode Catchment Partnership (ECP) in support of our ambition to restore the Evenlode to GOOD ecological status.

Donations will be generously matched by Big Give’s Champions during the campaign to make double the difference in supporting the ECP.

Ann Berkeley, ECP Programme Manager, said:
“Please support our fantastic project. By donating, you’ll be supporting efforts to restore vital water habitats, create new wildlife havens, engage communities and protect our rivers for future generations! Your contributions make all the difference.”

How can you get involved?

  • Visit our campaign page and make a donation from midday on 22nd April 2025. The campaign will close at midday on 29th April 2025.
  • Set a reminder in your calendar with a link to our campaign page so you don’t miss your chance to double your donation!
  • Share our campaign with your friends, family or social networks – anyone who may be interested in having their donation doubled!

About Big Give

Big Give is a registered charity (1136547) that runs match funded campaigns for charities and special causes at key moments across the year. By connecting charities to match funders (like philanthropists, foundations or corporates) and the public, Big Give helps them double their donations. And, in doing so, makes an extraordinary difference to the world’s biggest challenges. It has raised more than £350m for charities to date.

It’s a simple idea – when the public donates to a charity through a Big Give campaign, it asks funders to match that donation. So £50 from a member of the public becomes £100 for a good cause.

Big Give has supported thousands of charities and worked with some of the biggest names in UK philanthropy and charitable grant-making, which provide match funding.
