Come to the film premiere of ‘A River Sings’
The premiere of our new film, “A River Sings” will take place on Tuesday 22nd April 2025 in the Upper Hall at Chipping Norton Town Hall. This film shows the work of the Evenlode Catchment Partnership using Natural Flood Management to help reduce flooding. It explores the devastating effects of flooding, the co-operation of landowners and farmers and the amazing benefits for habitats and wildlife.
Book your free tickets and join us to watch the premiere of “A River Sings” and two more films: “Curlew River” and “The Chalgrove Brook”.
“Curlew River” explores the work of farmers and volunteers to help our wonderful Curlews as well as highlighting the fabulous ancient meadows and wet grassland habitats that they inhabit in our area.
“The Chalgrove Brook” is a story about one of the world’s rare chalk streams. Find out about how local organisations are working to improve the brook and engage the communities alongside it. Dive into the magical world on our doorstep, its geology, history, and ecology.
The evening will end with a Q&A panel of experts to answer your questions on “A River Sings”.
The 22nd April 2025 is Earth Day and also marks the start of our Big Give campaign week.
