Thames Water to receive £3bn emergency debt package

The high court has approved a £3bn debt package for Thames Water. This will help them avoid special administration for another six to twelve months.

Windrush Against Sewage Pollution (WASP) and Charlie Maynard MP had argued that this loan would not be in the customer or public interest, and will be appealing today’s decision.
