Thames Water has been seeking approval from the high court for an emergency loan of up to £3bn to avoid entering special administration and being temporarily renationalised.

Windrush Against Sewage Pollution (WASP) and their constituency MP, Charlie Maynard, have been in the high court this week to represent the interests of the customer and the public in this case. Having secured pro bono representation, they have argued that the loan is not in the customer or public interest.
